We have all experienced the frustration of finding the perfect story, article or website, only to watch students struggle so hard to decode it that they completely overlook the content. In this session, we will explore how embedded reading can be used to unlock authentic resources and increase comprehensibility for our students, as well as how to create an embedded reading, and resources to learn more about embedded reading. Please bring a reading passage in your target language to begin creating your own embedded reading during the second part of the session.
